Sheer Fabric Types
While there are scores of sheer fabric types, we will focus on a few that work best for sheer window shades.
- Sheer Fabrics: offer the most view-through and let in the most light compared to other fabric types. With these fabrics, you can see through to the outdoors—though the views may be always be 100% clear depending on the opacity level and shading solution.
- Semi-Sheer Fabrics: are a little more opaque than sheer fabrics. While offering some transparency, they block more view while still letting in a great amount of light.
